Sorok Gábor was raised by bears…

“Sorok, Gábor was raised by bears in a remote island off the far north-east coast of Canada. This is the reason he primarily paints portraits. What else could you do with nothing but furry brown faces licking you clean and roaring you to sleep and wake each and every day? He was discovered (though some would claim rescued) in the late 1990’s by a band of female pirates. He sailed the seven seas with them until he finally arrived in the Port of Trieste on the Italian side of the Adriatic. There he was troubled incessantly but the Habsburg dual-empire crest occasionally seen on only the oldest man-hole covers in the city. From there he finally found, and has thus far remained, home in Hungary’s capital city, Budapest. Like any decent artist he lives at home with his parents and hosts nude models on the weekends his parents are away in Vienna. In the portraits of these two women it’s clear Gábor has an affinity for brunettes. While his skill with a brush cannot be doubted, his luck with the ladies can. One woman says ‘Fuck me’ while the other says ‘Fuck off.’ It’s up to the viewer to decide which is which. Mystery shrouds Gábor’s technique. The question is often asked why he uses such a broad brush to paint such delectable beauty. Some critics have suggested that its due to significant penis envy. However, everyone of his models declare this is most assuredly not an issue.”
